Janet A. Lubart, National Marketing Director

Janet Lubart combines a solid, research-based understanding of corporate culture with more than 15 years of hands-on experience assisting clients to find successful ESOP solutions.

After growing up in Kansas City, Janet received a BS in Education from Drake University in Des Moines, IA. She combined this training with her insights on human behavior in the next step of her academic career, receiving a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Kansas in 1986.

Janet deepened her expertise in the behavior of individuals and groups by joining the team of nationally renowned psychologists Drs. Joy and Howard Osofsky and Dr. Rex Culp as Research Assistant. She performed studies on family values, including an investigation of women having their first child, for the National Institute of Mental Health at the University of Kansas Medical Center from 1984 to 1988.

In 1993, Janet discovered her passion for the ESOP concept when she joined ESOT Resources, Inc. as Vice President of Marketing, a position she held until 2008. In that role, she excelled in bringing home the values, virtues and logistics of ESOP strategies to mid-market privately held business owners and more than 400 advanced financial specialists. She assisted business owners in maximizing their liquidity through ESOPs. Janet also guided financial planners through qualifying their clients as suitable candidates for ESOPs.

Janet and her family reside in sunny south Florida. She is married to business entrepreneur Rand Lubart and they share a home in Palm Beach Gardens with their two teenaged children, ages 13 and 19. Janet enjoys classical music, playing the piano and following family activities including martial arts, tennis and basketball.
