Matt Martinez - Account Manager,
Matt has 20 plus years of business experience in a variety of capacities from operations management, customer service management, quality management, and major accounts management. He started his career in operations management for a small start-up company where he was instrumental in helping it become profitable in less than a year. He continued in operations management and moved into furniture manufacturing where he also became responsible for customer service management. Eventually, Matt transitioned into software manufacturing operations where he held executive positions in operations management, quality management, and major account management. He was also responsible for researching location, negotiating contract, and setting-up an East Coast Base of Operations. While in his role as a major accounts manager, he serviced several Fortune 100 companies including Microsoft, Dell, Ingram Micro, Hewlett-Packard, and Cisco.
Matt has had the responsibility of developing, reviewing and implementing multimillion dollar budgets, business policies, service levels, and procedures. He has managed 150+ employees through managers and supervisors utilizing his excellent people and communication skills. He has also been instrumental in analyzing of business processes and systems functionality, gathering and reviewing system requirements, determining gaps and working with business units to identify improved processes, and studying existing systems to evaluate effectiveness and integrate new systems to improve production and workflow.
Matt currently owns two companies; one is a management company, managing real estate investments and the other a distribution company specializing in sports performance and wellness products.
Matt graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Management with an emphasis in Organizational Behavior and Business Environment. He also has several certificates in leadership training including Dale Carnegie Leader Training for Managers and Zenger Miller Frontline Management.
Matt is a native to California and after living in Michigan, Massachusetts, New York and Northern California (Silicon Valley) he has returned to Orange County and resides in Costa Mesa. He is married and has a daughter and a son. He is active in his local church where he mentors young married couples and serves in men’s ministries. He also volunteers in his local community collecting food for the homeless and various other activities.
